Not much time left before Election Day is here in the States. This will be my first time actually attending the polls in person (last two elections I voted via absentee ballot), and I am excited to be able to exercise my right to vote. But I think it bears mentioning that voting isn't just my right as a U.S. citizen--it's also my responsibility. It's important that all of us exercise that right, but it's also important that we do it as informed individuals.  That means going beyond sound bites and campaign ads. Hey guys... One of my best friends from college, Gina, just lost nearly all of her worldly posessions in a very bad fire last week.  She managed to get out of her rented room with her wallet, cell phone, bicycle, and the pair of pants she was wearing.  That's all.
