A female Persian Leopard (Panthera pardus saxicolor) at the San Diego Zoo. This beautiful animal is one of the last of her subspecies, which is facing extinction in the wild. "Palang" is Farsi for "leopard."

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooow! An absolutely AMAZING, ney, BEAUTIFUL photograph of the most glorious and sexy large felines, the leopard!
It sickens me to think that people actually hunt such a species to extinction and many others to boot... even saddens me...
Anyway, a wonderful clear and up close picture perfect moment, keep up the smashing photography!

Another wonderful photo. Persian leopards are so beautiful. It's a shame there are so few left. You've made a very good picture of an elegant cat. I admire (and envy) your focusing skills. Wonderful job. :)
