Help a good friend of mine--buy some prints!

Hey guys...

One of my best friends from college, Gina, just lost nearly all of her worldly posessions in a very bad fire last week. She managed to get out of her rented room with her wallet, cell phone, bicycle, and the pair of pants she was wearing. That's all.

She's an assistant field hockey coach at R-MWC, and they have been incredible at helping her get back on her feet, but I wanted to do a little for her as well, so I thought I would send a plea for help out there to you guys in the dA universe.

For the next 3 months, I am going to donate all profits from my print account as well as the money made at my Cafepress Store to help replace some of what she has lost.

If you'd like to commission me, now's a good time, since I will be giving 25% of the commission money to her. 3" painted busts start out at $100.

I'm sure that many of you guys are having just as rough a time finanically as me, but if you like my art and want to own an original, a print, or a t-shirt of two, and you have the resources, it would really mean a lot to me, and to Gina.

hey, you have some nice photos...how's that 50mm f/1.8? Do you get really soft backrounds at large apertures? I'm thinking of getting an 85mm f/1.4 or something for real soft backgrounds
